Lucas J. Erias

Lucas J. Erias, known as Pook by many, passed suddenly on June 26, 2025. He was 42 years old.

Born on August 20, 1982 in Manhattan, NY, son of the late Carmen Maria Ricci Erias and Evangelista Medina.

Lucas met the love of his life in middle school, Jessica Kelly. Jessica and Lucas married in 2011. Together they enjoyed lifes ups and downs for over 25 years.

Pook was a crossing guard for the city of Danbury. The children who walked his street loved him and he loved them back. They brought joy to his life and allowed him to love his job. He enjoyed playing video games of all types, fishing, cooking, especially Sunday family dinners. One of his greatest passions in life was watching wrestling, all of it. However, his greatest passion in life was his family, he loved spending time with his wife and three children and granddaughter.

Lucas is survived by his loving wife Jess, his children; Justin Medina, Larissa Medina and Lucas Medina and his beloved granddaughter. He will be missed by many dear friends.

A celebration of life gathering will be held on Wednesday, August 20th at 11:00am at Wooster cemetery. Danbury Memorial Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. To send the family condolences please visit, www.danburymemorial.com.
