Louis L. Mezzone, Jr.

Louis Lawrence Mezzone, Jr., of Ridgefield, CT, passed away on March 24, 2026. He was born on September 13, 1926, in the Bronx, NY, to the late Bianca Guffanti and Louis L. Mezzone, Sr. Louis’ beloved wife of 73 years, Margaret Mezzone (Hafner), predeceased him in April 2024.

Louis was a carpenter by trade and business owner/partner of Prospect Window Frame Co. in the Bronx. He was a WWII veteran, having proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He was a car aficionado, loved music and dancing with his wife, and enjoyed playing tennis. He was a man of faith, loved and respected by all who knew him.

Louis is survived by his children: Deborah Mezzone (Chuck Gaylord), Louis L. Mezzone III (Angela), Kathryn Alfredo (Tommy); his grandchildren: Jeffrey, Chelsey, Regina (Michael), Matthew, Alanna (John), Tiffany (Zachary), Thomas Jr., Louis IV; and his great- grandchildren: Kolson, Charlie, and Andersyn.

Louis is also survived by his identical twin brother, George.

A private, immediate-family-only service will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY, on April 8th.

Memorial donations may be made in Louis’ name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or the American Heart Association.
