Loving Sister and Generous Hearted Soul


Lorraine Villarreal, formerly of Waterbury, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 9th, 2024 at Newtown Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Newtown,CT.  Lorraine was born in Waterbury on January 2, 1959, daughter of the late Yvette West and Claude Robert.


Former employee of MacDermid Inc for 25 years, Lorraine was also known to be a generous donator to various causes and those she found in need.  She enjoyed spending time with her sisters, and cousins Ann, Jane and Carol.  


She leaves behind three sisters, Lucille Miller of Middlebury, Pauline (Joseph) Gervickas of Middlebury, and Doris (William) Berth of Fort Mill,SC.  Lorraine also leaves niece Jennifer Gambardella and nephew Thomas Gambardella Jr.  


Lorraine's family would like to give special thanks to Newtown Rehabilitation and Health Care Center along with the Hospice team for their wonderful care and compassion given to their sister.  


Celebration of Life service for Lorraine will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 18th at Beacon Baptist Fellowship Church, 200 Elm Street, Thomaston,CT . Friends and family are invited to attend visitation at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
