Linda D. Falce, a fifty-year resident of New Fairfield, CT, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on July 22, 2025. She was 80 years old.
Born on November 3, 1944 in New York City, NY, daughter of the late Joseph and Vera (Raganetti) D’Elia. Linda graduated from New Rochelle High School in 1963 and attended Visual Arts School in NYC.
Linda is not only survived by her beloved husband Ralph, but also her daughter Michele (Michael) McKague, and her grandsons; Anthony and Austin McKague. She was predeceased by her sister Josephine, and her nephew Ricky.
She met the love of her life Ralph through a mutual friend, and the rest is history. They married on May 25, 1968 and enjoyed 57 years of wedded bliss together.
Linda was a true artist. From homemade birthday and wedding cakes to gourmet cookies. From handmade clothing to canvas paintings.
But Linda’s true gift wasn’t her art, it was how she loved and lived. She was full of life and happiness. Linda was a kind soul and friend to everyone, if you needed anything she was there for you, from a hug in the grocery store or a meal when you are sick.
It wasn’t just people, Linda loved all animals. If it wasn’t her stray cats that she fed and sheltered, it was the birds and squirrels. Linda would go without in order to make sure those animals were taken care of.
Linda devoted her life to others but nothing can compare to to the love and generosity she poured into her family. Her two grandsons were her world. There was nothing that she wouldn’t do for them. Whether it was shooting hoops with them or making them cookies….
Linda left a footprint.
Donations can be made in her memory to the New Family Animal Welfare.
