Linda Marie Binette

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our precious mother, Linda Binette, who left us on October 20, 2025.

Born on August 3, 1949 in Wilton, CT, to Louis and Marion Chalifoux.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend, known for her generous spirit and quiet strength.

Our mother was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of her family before her own. Her love of good food was reflected in her devotion to watching every cooking show on television. Her voice, a constant and welcome presence in our lives, has been silenced. No one will forget the way she would call just to tell you one thing and next thing you know it would be an hour or more conversation. Her love language was conversation, and we were all the better for it. 

She is survived by her children; Darlene, Maryann and Jennifer, sister Penny and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband George, son William, brothers Louis and Richard and sisters Beverly and Patty.

Her life was a beautiful melody in the rhythm of our lives. The music lives on. We will cherish her always. 

A celebration of life will be held privately for the family. Danbury Memorial Funeral Home assisted the family.
