Kristina Teresa Boccia

Kristina Teresa Boccia passed away peacefully on January 15, 2024 at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT. Kristina was born in Germany on April 29, 1947 to the late Frank and Stefania Rogalski. As a child, she emigrated with her family to the United States, where they settled in Jamaica, Queens, New York. Kristina proudly became a United States citizen on November 22, 1963. She was a devoted wife to Bernard Louis Boccia (aka Ben) for 53 years.

Kristina was a loving mother and homemaker. She had a generous and welcoming spirit and enjoyed cooking for and entertaining family and friends. As an ardent music lover, she was often moved to express joy through dance. Kristina volunteered for many causes in her community, most recently the Ladies Auxiliary at VFW Post 5491 in Mahopac, NY.

Kristina’s memory lives on in her children: Bernard L. Boccia Jr. (wife Jennifer), and Lisa K. Branner (husband Klemens); and her grandson, Bryan Lewis Boccia. She is predeceased by her loyal husband Ben.

In keeping with Kristina’s wishes, her life will be celebrated at a private gathering. The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made in Kristina’s honor to the American Cancer Society.
