Kim Thi Nguyen

Kim Thi Nguyen passed away peacefully on July 20, 2021 at the St. John Paul II Center in Danbury, CT. Kim was born on October 7, 1933 in Ha Moi, Vietnam.

Kim was an active member of the Catholic church.  She enjoyed being a housewife for 51 years and caring for her grandchildren.  Her hobbies were cooking, gardening, and tailoring for herself and her family. 

Kim is survived by her loving children Ngoc Oanh Lee, Loan Vu, Lien Geer (Bob Geer), Huy Vu (Diem Vu) and Nhan Vu (Natasha Vu), her siblings Tien Nguyen, Tu Nguyen, and Tuy Nguyen, her grandchildren Thuvan Gomez, Sandra Leonard (Brian Leonard), Lisa Lee (Jon Dupree), Andrew Lee (Allison Lee), Doan Hung Nguyen, Duylingh Nguyen, Thien Trieu Ngoc Nguyen (Ashley Ann Thetford), Ronan McCloskey, Tuan Nguyen, Kim-Anh Nguyen, Kimora Vu, and Alliyah Vu as well as her great grandchildren Nicholas and Alexia Leonard, Chloe, Anthony Jr, and Christopher Gomez, Isabella and Alyvia Dupree, Ethan Thien and Evan Kai Nguyen, Aiden and Lily Nguyen and Evelyn Cynthia Lee. She is also survived by her step-great grandchildren Jordan and Marcus Dupree. She was Predeceased by her husband Hy Trong Vu, her daughter Hue-Vu, her son-in -law Kim Nguyen, and her son-in-law Lou Peter Lee. 

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Friday July 30, 2021 from 9am – 10:30am at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St. Danbury, CT 06810) with a Mass of Christian Burial to be held Friday July 30, 2021 at 11am at St. Mary’s Parish (26 Dodgingtown Rd, Bethel, CT, 06801) with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Bethel, CT (located off CT-53)
