Kevin Storm Lyhne

Kevin Storm Lyhne, of Bethel, formerly longtime resident of Fairfield, CT, died peacefully with his family by his side on Friday August 11, 2023 at Danbury Hospital. He battled several years of COPD, heart disease, Alpha 1 and cirrhosis of the liver, which ultimately took his life. He was 59 years old.

Born on February 15, 1964 in Bridgeport, CT son of the late William (Bill) and Genevieve Lyhne. Kevin graduated from Andew Ward High School. He learned more in the real world than school could teach him, Kevin was a master carpenter for many years before his illness became too much.

Kevin married Sharon Robbins on September 24, 1988. Together they raised 3 boys; Eric, Adam, and Christopher. Kevin loved being outdoors- no matter the season. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and hunting. Kevin was happiest when he was around his family and friends.

Kevin is not only survived by his wife Sharon, but also his three sons; Eric and his fiancée Melissa Tunno, Adam and Christopher and his girlfriend Caity Ashford, his 8 sisters and one brother and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister and little brother.

A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Rd, Fairfield, CT 06825 on August 26, 2023 at 9:30am. Danbury Memorial Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
