Julia Teresa Guzman

Julia Teresa Guzman passed away on June 29, 2021 in Danbury, CT.  Julia was born on December 14, 1941 in Santiago, Dominican Republic to the late Teolinda Ines Pena and Luis Mario Guzman.

Julia was a loving woman with a vibrant personality. She loved music, flowers, and playing bingo. Her smiled used to brighten the room and bring comfort to everyone near her. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

 Julia is survived by her beloved daughter Ruth Munioz, her sisters Milagros Luna and Fauta Guzman, her grandchildren Melissa Santana, Tommy Garcia, and Steven Garcia, her great grandchildren Monah Anderson, Stephanie Garcia, Kila Garcia, and Steven Garcia Jr., her great great granddaughter Mylani Vargas as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday July 10, 2021 at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St. Danbury, CT 06810)  from 9am-10am with a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (29 Golden Hill Rd, Danbury, CT 06811) at 10:30am and burial to follow at Wooster Cemetery (20 Ellsworth Ave. Danbury, CT 06810).

 A Julia le sobreviven su amada hija Ruth Munioz, sus hermanas Milagros Luna y Fauta Guzman, sus nietos Melissa Santana, Tommy García y Steven García, sus bisnietos Monah Anderson, Stephanie García, Kila García y Steven García Jr., su tatarabuelo. bisnieta Mylani Vargas así como muchas sobrinas y sobrinos.

Una reunión de celebración de la vida se llevará a cabo el sábado 10 de julio de 2021 en Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St. Danbury, CT 06810) de 9 am a 10 am con una misa de entierro cristiano en la iglesia Our Lady of Guadalupe (29 Golden Hill Rd., Danbury, CT 06811) a las 10:30 am y el entierro en Wooster Cemetery (20 Ellsworth Ave. Danbury, CT 06810).
