Joseph Edward Keating

Joseph Edward Keating, beloved husband of Elizabeth J. Keating, passed away peacefully on November 6th, 2020 at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT after a courageous battle with cancer. Joseph was born on March 20, 1955 in Bellerose, NY to the late John James Keating and Therese K. Donahue Keating.

Joe worked as a courier for DHL Express for 33 years.  After retiring from DHL, Joe worked briefly at Bridgewater Chocolate in Brookfield. 

In addition to his beloved wife of 46 years, Joe is survived by his two sons: Duane Keating (Tisa) and Scott Keating (Jennifer). Two sisters, Kathleen Davey (Hugh) and Mary Enoksen (Richard) of Palm Bay, FL. Joe was blessed with seven grandchildren: Carisa Keating, Skylar Keating, Zabrina Keating, Tyler Keating, Matthew Keating, Aaron Keating, and Aaden Keating.  Joe also leaves behind several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and his lifelong friends, Jimmy and Vicky Motz of West Babylon, NY.  

Joe is predeceased by his two sisters, Maureen Korn and Dolores Gordon and his brother, John Keating.
