Joseph Fleming

Joseph Fleming, 57, of New Milford, husband of Debbie Elizabeth (Langyel) Fleming, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, November 4, 2021.  Joseph was born in Manning, SC on September 25, 1964 to the late Venro and Harriett (Collins) Fleming.

Joseph was a kind, loving soul who devoted his life to God.  He was a pastor at the House of Prayer and Miracles in Brookfield, CT for over 15 years, as well as a chemist at Target Flavors in Brookfield, CT for over 10 years.  He loved to play the drums and share his music with his congregation and those closest to him.  Joseph was a family man whose smile and laughter would light up the whole room.  He was a known jokester and loved nothing more than getting onto the floor to play with his grandkids.  Joseph will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Joseph is survived by his loving wife Debbie Elizabeth Fleming, his children Ava Shog, Cameron Fleming, Sadie Fleming, and Nicholas Fleming; his step-children Christina DiBernardino (Vincent), James Quine (Kirsten), Cassandra Colby (Christopher), Kyle Quine (Katie) and Matthew Quine (Nicole).  He is also survived by his six siblings, sixteen grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.  Joseph was predeceased by two of his brothers.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St. Danbury, CT) on Wednesday November 10, 2021 from 10am – 11am with a Prayer Service to begin at 11am. Burial will follow at Wooster Cemetery (20 Ellsworth Ave. Danbury, CT).
