Jose L. Peralta, of Danbury, CT, passed away on May 23, 2026. He was 84 years old. Born on November 26, 1941 in Cuenca, Ecuador, son of the late Benigno and Amelia Peralta. Jose was married to his beloved wife Ketty Villon. Jose was a police officer in Ecuador from 1970-1978. In 1978 he came to the USA and worked at Fairfield from 1978 until his retirement.
Jose was a long-time member of Kingdom Way Pentecostal Church in Danbury, CT. He enjoyed taking early morning walks at the mall. He also loved watching soccer. Jose’s family was most important to him. He loved to provide for them and loved to cook for them.
Jose is survived by his loving wife Ketty, his daughter Sonia Peralta Husband (Robert Myers), his grandchildren; Raquel Rivera, Jamara Myers, Angie Myers and Tiana Myers, his great grandchildren; Armani, Jionni, Daryl, Jayden; his sister Laura Peralta and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings; Jesus, Robalino, Oscar, Miguel, Adelaida and Rosa.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Thursday May 28, 2026 from 6pm-7pm with a service beginning at 7pm at Kingdom Way Pentecostal Church 39 Rose St, Danbury, CT 06810. A private cremation will be held.
