Jose Elias Nunez passed away peacefully on December 31, 2020 at his home in Danbury, CT while surrounded by his loving family. Jose was born on July 20, 1940 in Juncalito, Dominican Republic to the late Julio and Eduvina del Carmen Nunez. Beloved husband of Ana Nunez.
Jose worked as a self-employed construction worker and was known as a hard and determined worker. Jose was a beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Jose is survived by his ten beloved children. Seven daughters: Yolanda Nunez, Nydia Nunez, Sterlyn Disla, Gina Nunez, Rosa Nunez, Bernarda Nunez, and Ariana Nunez. Three sons: Ramon Nunez, Angelo Nunez, and Anderson Nunez. As well as twenty-four beloved grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday January 5, 2021 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (29 Golden Hill Rd, Danbury CT 06810) at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at St. Peter Cemetery (Lake Ave Ext., Danbury CT 06810).

José Elías Nunez falleció pacíficamente el 31 de Diciembre de 2020 en su casa en Danbury, CT, mientras estaba rodeado de su amada familia. José nació el 20 de Julio de 1940 en Juncalito, República Dominicana, hijo de Julio y Carmen Nunez. Amada esposa de Ana Nunez.
José trabajaba como trabajador de la construcción por cuenta propia y era conocido como un trabajador duro y decidido. José fue un padre, abuelo y bisabuelo amados.
A José le sobreviven sus diez amados hijos. Siete hijas: Yolanda Nunez, Nydia Nunez, Sterlyn Disla, Gina Nunez, Rosa Nunez, Bernarda Nunez y Ariana Nunez. Tres hijos: Ramon Nunez, Angelo Nunez y Anderson Nunez. Además de veintiquatro amados nietos, cinco bisnietos y muchas sobrinas y sobrinos.
Una misa de entierro cristiano se llevará a cabo el Martes 5 de Enero de 2021 en la Iglesia Our Lady of Guadalupe (29 Golden Hill Rd, Danbury CT 06810) a las 11 am con el entierro en el Cementerio St. Peter (Lake Ave Ext., Danbury CT 06810).
