Jose Costa

Jose M. Costa, died at his home after a short but strong battle against pancreatic cancer on November 2, 2023. He was 63 years old.

Born on February 24, 1960 in Azores, Portugal, son of the late Antonio Costa Velente and Hermina Melo Velente. Jose married the love of his life Maria E. Paiva on January 9, 1980.

Jose was a dedicated and hard worker for over 43 years with Hubbell Wiring in Newtown, CT. He was a good father and husband whose biggest goal in life was to provide a good and happy life for his family. 

Mr. Costa is not only survived by his loving wife Maria but also his son Jose M. Costa ‘Joey’, his granddaughter Nevaeh Costa and his siblings; Mario, Rosa, Garca, Fatima, Luis and Armando. He was sadly predeceased by his son Michael Costa in 2020. 

A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday November 7, 2023 at 10:15 AM, please begin arriving at 10 AM. A celebration of life gathering will follow the service until 12PM. Interment will private.
