Jose A Coelho

Jose A. Coelho passed away peacefully on January 10, 2021 at Glen Hill Center in Danbury, CT. Jose was born on February 17, 1930 in Gouveia, Portugal to the late Jose Lopes Coelho and Rosa De Abrantes Coelho. Beloved husband of the late Maria da Nazare Nunes.

Jose proudly spent his life working as a self-employed farmer prior to retirement. He had a strong faith in God. Beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather. 

Jose is survived by his three daughters Maria Helena Oliveira, Assuncao Maria Gabriel, and Rosa Cecilio, as well as three sisters in Portugal, seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren with one more on the way, and many nieces and nephews. Jose is predeceased by four siblings. 

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday January 13th, 2021 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (149 Deer Hill Ave, Danbury CT 06810) at 11:30 a.m. Due to Covid-19 regulations, the church is only able to admit 32 people. However, if you are unable to attend in person you are welcome to view the mass via Live Stream. To join the live stream service please follow the link in the Service Details section below.
