Jorge Fausto Portilla Tacuri

Jorge Fausto Portilla Tacuri, of Danbury, CT, passed away May 5, 2024 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was 58 years old.

Born on June 28, 1965 in Gualaceo, Ecuador son of Juan Segundo Portilla Vasquez and Luz Maria Tacuri Lopez. He was a chef at The Cue in Danbury, CT. Jorge loved to dance, he loved spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed eating food from his home town in Ecuador. 

Jorge is lovingly survived by his children; Jaime (Jessica) Portillla, Myra Portilla and Monica Portilla, his siblings; Zoila Portilla, Carlos Portilla and Gonzalo Portilla and his beloved grandchildren.

A celebration of life gathering will be held on Thursday May 9, 2024 from 5pm-8pm at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South Street). Burial will take place in Ecuador.
