John Tarracciano

John Tarracciano, age 68, a longtime resident of Pawling, NY, died on September 25, 2023 after a prolonged period of declining health while under the care of the compassionate staff at Danbury Hospital. John was born on May 24, 1955 in Mount Kisco, NY and was the loving middle child to his late parents, Anthony and Josephine Tarracciano.

John was a 1973 graduate of Fox Lane High School in Bedford, NY and worked for many years in the moving and storage business.  He also worked as a helpful and trusted associate at Home Depot in Brewster, NY. 

John was a passionate New York Yankees fan and loved playing golf with his brothers and nephew. As a youngster, he also liked to ice skate at Leonard Park in Mount Kisco, NY.

John will be greatly missed by his surviving brothers Tom (Kathy) of Williston, VT, Dan (Lisa) of Williston, VT and Dave (Maureen) of Suffield, CT.  He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. John was predeceased by his older brother Richard.  

The family would like to extends thanks to the staff at Danbury Hospital for their kindness, professionalism and care and to his friend and neighbor Dino Gaudino for all his help and friendship to John over the years. 

There will be no public services. A graveside service will be at St. Francis Cemetery in Mount Kisco, NY at the convenience of the family.
