John Kellogg Northrop, Jr. passed away Wednesday June 15, 2022 in Danbury Hospital after recent struggles with some physical and mental health issues.
John was the oldest of 5 children. He took that role very seriously, and thought of himself as our protectors. No matter where life brought him, he always did his best to keep in touch with his siblings. For many years he used his talents to build things as he was a talented carpenter. He loved his motorcycle, a good Memorial Day cookout, helping others, and God. He had his struggles in life, but always did his best to try to overcome them. He tried to help and encourage others to do the same. He will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by both sets of grandparents and both parents and step father. He leaves behind his stepmother, Mary Northrop, his four siblings Jason Northrop, Pearle Northrop, William Reiske, and Sarah Beane along with four nieces and two nephews.
Services will be held privately by the family.
