Joanne Raymunt-Rosario, of Danbury, CT, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2025 in Stamford, CT at the age of 47 after battling years of multiple medical diagnosis.
Joanne was born on June 24, 1977 in Danbury to the daughter of Michael and Eleanore (Carboni) Raymunt. Joanne was an alumnus of Henry Abbott Technical High School where she pursued her passion of culinary.
Joanne was married to Jose Angel Rosario and she was the loving mother of Nicole Raymunt and Dominick Rosario and the beloved sister of Michelle Strandberg and Renee Raymunt.
Joanne worked at ShopRite in Brookfield where she became the manager of the floral department and was always on point with her customer service skills. She enjoyed to entertain for many as well as trying new recipes she would find. Joanne truly had a passion for camping and spending time with her family.
Joanne is survived by her husband Jose, her children; Nicole (Jorge) and Dominick and her siblings Michelle (James) and Renee and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Thursday February 20,2025 from 11am-12pm at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South Street) with a service beginning at 12 pm. Interment will follow at Wooster Cemetery (20 Ellsworth Avenue).
