Jo-Anna C. Cunningham

Jo-Anna C. Cunningham passed away peacefully on July 9, 2024 at Regional Hospice. She was 77 years old.

Born on August 30, 1946 in Niskayuna, NY, daughter of the late Emil J. Sr and Mary (Sienkiewicz) Schneider. Jo-Anna graduated from Linton High School and received her associates degree and RN license from Hudson Valley Community College

Jo-Anna married the love of her life Michael G. Cunningham on April 19, 1969. Together they moved to Danbury, CT in June 1974.

Jo-Anna was a nurse with Pediatric Associates of Western Connecticut for many years before retiring. She enjoyed bird watching and her pets.

Mrs. Cunningham is not only survived by her loving husband Michael, but also her nieces and nephews; Nicol Wamsganz, Kyle Schneider, Kevin Lindquist, Kelly Lindquist and many great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother Emil J. Schneider Jr.

A celebration of life service will be held on July 20th, 2024 at 1pm at Long Ridge United Methodist (201 Long Ridge Rd, Danbury). Danbury Memorial Funeral Home(117 South Street) assisted the family with arrangements.
