Jelena Pojer

Jelena Pojer, of Bethel, CT, passed away peacefully with her beloved daughter by her side on August 14, 2025. She was 90 years old.

Born on October 1, 1934 in Donji Kosinj, Croatia, daughter of the late Filip and Marija Petranovic. Jelena was married to the love of her life Alojzije Pojer. He predeceased his beloved wife on January 27, 2024.

Jelena was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Her family and friends were what was most important to her in life. She enjoyed the company and conversations of others.

Jelena is survived by her loving daughter Gordana and her husband Vjekoslav Bogdan, her granddaughter; Gorana and her husband Onur, her grandson; Kristopher and her brother; Marko Petranovic.
