Jeffrey Thomas

On June 27th, 2024 Jeffrey Thomas at the young age of 55 was called home to be alongside Nana, his mother and Aunt Karen.

Born on December 25,1968 in Greenville, NC and raised in Danbury, CT by his mother Brenda Whichard and Nana Carol Tallman. He graduated from Danbury High School class of 88. When he was younger he loved to breakdance and he was a part of the B Boys Crew with his cousins. Jeff loved to play basketball and was a part of many leagues. One of his favorites was at the War Memorial. 

Jeff was a huge sports fan and enjoyed watching LeBron James and his Cowboys. Jeff owned his own landscaping business and took great pride in his work. Jeff enjoyed traveling with his family and exploring new destinations. His love for his family was unconditional and he enjoyed game nights and gatherings with his children.

Jeff was a loving life partner to Mellissa Kendall, a wonderful father to his children; Brenda Thomas (Ryan Calderara), Tyreess Thomas, Belinda Thomas, Greg Ramos (Colleen Peck), Devin Thomas, Brianna Thomas (Niar Brown), and Jordan Thomas, his four  grandchildren; Shyla Thomas, Noelle Ramos, Nianna Brown, and Haven Ramos. He is survived by his siblings; Alexander, Johnny and Adrianna. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. 

A celebration of life gathering will be held Friday, July 5th 2024 from 2pm-3pm with a service beginning at 3pm at Danbury Memorial funeral home (117 South Street Danbury, CT). A private cremation will be held. Please visit www.danburymemorial.com to send the family condolences.
