Janet A. DeVita

It is with tremendous sadness that the family of Janet A. DeVita announces her passing on July 2, 2021 at the age of 63 after a long battle with early onset Alzheimer's/Dementia. Janet, lovingly known as "Jay" was a true angel on earth. She was sweet, kind, loyal and honest. Her love of cooking, gardening and animals were such a part of her gentle ways and are so missed. 

Jay was preceeded in death by her Parents, Anthony and Helen Medaglia; Father-in-law, Lawrence J. DeVita; her Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles. She is survived by her Husband, best friend and soulmate, Lawrence C. (Larry) DeVita; beloved Daughter, Samantha DeVita-Milam (Rick); Granddaughter, Alyssa Milam; Mother-in-law, Barbara DeVita; Vinnie Romano; Siblings, Diane Piedmont (Joe), Lucy Medaglia, Anthony Medaglia (Mary Lou); Sister-in-law, Christine Vichi (Frank), Brother-in-law, Vincent DeVita (Nichole); Nieces, Michelle Stone (Jay), Danielle Medaglia, Danielle Vichi, Catherine Medaglia; and Nephews, Jason Piedmont (Nicole), Francis Vichi, Andrew Rinaldi (Rebecca), Vincent DeVita and Christopher DeVita. She will be loved and remembered by her "family by affection", Donna and Ron Morgan; Jessica Sayer; Christine Ruth and most especially, by her fur-baby, Sugar. 

A private memorial will be held in her honor. Forever loved, forever missed.
