Jacqueline Bizier Obituary

Jacqueline “Jackie” Bizier passed away on January 4, 2023 at her home in New Milford, CT. Jackie was born on October 14, 1949 in St. Victor, Quebec, Canada to the late Gaston Cloutier and Jeanne Veilleux Cloutier. Beloved wife of the late Gaetan Bizier.

Jackie worked for many years as a mail room clerk for the Housatonic Valley Publishing company, later known as the Danbury News Times. Following her successful career as a clerk, she also spent some time working as a home aid which she enjoyed greatly.

Jackie was a free spirited, kindhearted, and strong-willed woman. She loved playing competitive games of bingo and pokeno with her friends, and would take yearly trips with her sisters to play at the next best casino that they had yet to visit. She was also known to bend the rules in her favor for many family game nights, just so that she could stay in the game longer. She had a bright personality and often cracked up at her own jokes so much that she would never get to the punchline, but watching her laugh was a reward in itself.

Family was incredibly important to Jackie, and she cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and children. Jackie enjoyed her time with her daughters at the Windmill Diner, she always looked forward to her diner meals. She enjoyed her yearly trips to her home of St. Victor, Quebec around the holidays. Her younger years were filled with camping and exuberant parties with her close knit family and friends. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Jackie is survived by her two beloved daughters: Kellie Cole and her husband Joe Cole and Anne Bladt and her partner David Seger. Five grandchildren: Acacia Bizier, Connor Bladt, Michel Bladt, Aiden Cole and Vaida Cole. Three siblings: Lili, Luc, and Denis. As well as many additional beloved family and friends. Jackie is predeceased by her cherished grandson Hunter Bladt, and sisters Renee, Francine, Martine, and Lucie.
