Irene E Kriscuinas

Irene E. Kriscuinas entered into eternal rest on September 26, 2021. She was the only child of the late Elizabeth Dzamko Kriscuinas and Leonas Kriscruinas.

Irene was born on November 28, 1948 in Huesden, Belgium.

Irene was a graduate of Western CT State University with a degree in English.  She held many high level administrative roles throughout her career, including administrative assistant at Ayers International.

She graced the American scene with her buoyant style, enthusiasm and knowledge and loved to research many topics. She had a passion for sailing, dancing, reggae music, international travel and Turner Classic Movies. She left an unforgettable impression on everyone she met.

She was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church of Danbury. 

She leaves behind a large extended family including, Agnes and husband Jim, Bridget and husband Nicholas, their daughter Olivia, and son Brady; The Birthday Girls: Nade, Cathy (and Kitty Pepe), Helen, Sue and Lulu; as well as Joanne, Kathleen, Maxine, Peggy, Helmut, Kathy, Barb and Cora.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation for the love and care provided to Irene by the staff at Village Crest, especially, Laila, Monica, Terry and Ann. Also a special Thanks to Confessor Rodriquez at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home, Fr. Ron at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, and Pastor Shawn Jordan at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Roman Catholic Church for their support and prayers.

A celebration of Irene’s life will be held on October 31, 2021, at 3:30pm, at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Roman Catholic Church, with Pastor Shawn Jordan officiating.

There are no calling hours, burial will be private.
