Ian Anthony Howell, fondly known to many as “Scottie”, passed away on November 4, 2020 at his home in Bethel, CT. Scottie was born on October 25, 1966 in Jamaica W.I.

Scottie was a welder and skilled iron worker for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority and a union member of Local 580. Scottie was a passionate and driven worker, who made great efforts to constantly evolve his skills and showcase his talent.

In his free time, he loved to gather friends and family for cookouts where Scottie was the head BBQ master. He loved fishing, playing his music, boxing in his youth, and watching sports. He was a die hard fan of both the Yankees and the Miami Dolphins, always catching their games. Above all, Scottie cherished quality time spent laughing and relaxing with his loved ones. His beautiful spirit will be dearly missed.

Scottie is survived by his life partner of 24 years, Patricia Fraser, and their three daughters: Chantel Howell, Tashara Howell Destiny Howell, and stepson Owen Williams. As well as his mother Hazel, grandson Caleb, brother Wayne, brother Jerry, his favorite cousin Saundra as well as other cousin’s, 4 nephews and 1 niece. He is predeceased by one sister.
