Howard M. Sturges, Jr

It is with the family’s heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Howard M. Sturges Jr., 76, of Brookfield, CT, into God’s hands on Thursday, April 17, 2025.

Howard was born in Bethel, CT, to parents Howard M. Sturges, Sr. and Dorothy St. John Sturges on August 30, 1948.

Howard graduated from Bethel High School. He received his electronics certificate, after serving in the United States Army. Howard, most of all, enjoyed owning his own business of Joe’s TV in Danbury, CT, and was helpful to the surrounding communities of Fairfield County and New York, servicing their needs in TV’s, satellites, and all other electronic repairs to those in need for 55 years.

Howard was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and uncle. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Marcy (Bedient) Sturges.

He leaves behind four children: Natasha Ward (James), Stephen Sturges, Gregory Sturges (Jill), and Jeffery Sturges (Rachael); in addition to his brothers, Donald Sturges (Ellen), and Robert Sturges (Christine). He is also survived by his loving grandchildren: Jesse, Caleb, Tai, Kenji, Charlotte, and Lucie; and an extended family of nieces and nephews.
