Henry Edwin Carballo, 78, of Danbury CT., passed away peacefully in his sleep at Danbury Hospital on December 12, 2025 with his family at his bedside. He was the husband of the late Alma Rose Carballo (Cordero). He was born in Manhattan, New York to the late Henry Sr. and Alma Iris Carballo (Martinez).
He attended schooling in Germany, where his father was stationed in the US Army. After graduating from Roosevelt High School on East Fordham Rd in the Bronx, he enlisted in the military. Henry served his country in the United States Army rising to the rank of Sergeant. After honorable discharge, he received his Associate's degree and met Alma, the love of his life. He went on to work as a radiological cardiovascular technician with Beth Israel Medical Center where he worked tirelessly for over thirty years alongside his wife. They moved from Queens to New Rochelle to raise their sons. He finally settled in Danbury after his wife’s passing.
Henry enjoyed vacations with his family to warm destinations; playing lotto, cards and going to casinos; collecting and watching movies; and watching basketball, baseball and football.
