Harry James Tomlinson

Harry James Tomlinson, 83, of New Milford, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 11th, 2025. He was born in Waterbury, Connecticut, son of Harry and Lillian (Paddock)
Tomlinson.

Harry grew up in Southbury, Connecticut and later joined the Army in 1960, and served until honorably discharged in 1963. Harry was a NASCAR fan and frequented the Danbury Race Arena back in the day. He also had a love of collecting in which he instilled in his sons.

Harry is survived by his wife of more than 55 years Joan (Jaschinsky), his son Scott Tomlinson and his wife Renee of Danbury, CT, his son Kevin Tomlinson and his wife Neri of Norwalk, CT, his grandchildren, which he absolutely adored, Brianna, Kyle, Hailee, Logan, Dylan and Christian and great-grandchildren Olivia and Sophia.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters Bette Elwood & Norma Hibbard.

Harry will be laid to rest with Full Military Honors. The memorial service for family and friends will be on Saturday, September 13th, 2025, 10:00 AM at The New Milford Center Cemetery, 6 Poplar St, New Milford, CT 06776.
