Gerald Holton Obituary

Gerald S. Holton, born in Great Neck, NY, June 9, 1931, died peacefully on April 14, 2021. He was the son of Wilbur & Irma (Hoppe) Holton. Gerald is survived by his wife Barbara (Billig) Holton of Bethel, CT, sons Thomas (Kerry) of Brookfield CT, and Charles of Southbury, CT, as well as a sister Kathleen (Carlo) Giorgini of Nokomis, FL, and four grandchildren.

He attended Suffield Academy Prep. School and Tufts University. He served as a medic at the Naval Hospital in Newport, RI, the Annapolis Naval Hospital in MD and Camp Pendleton, CA. Mr. Holton opened Holton Travel Agency in Danbury, CT, in 1972 and served as President until he retired. He will be missed by those who loved him.
