Gail Miriam Krompinger

Gail M. (Allen) Krompinger passed away on July 15, 2021 at Regional Hospice in Danbury, CT after a courageous battle with cancer. Gail was born on October 19, 1959 in Bridgeport, CT to Marguerite (Malaney) and the late, great Harold Allen. A lifelong Bethel resident, she graduated from Bethel High and raised a family there. She then went back to school to become a Surgical Technologist at Danbury Hospital, a job she loved with coworkers who made her smile every day.

Quick-witted and wry, Gail never missed an opportunity to crack a joke or make someone close to her laugh. She enjoyed gardening, reading, beaches and traveling with her best friends; always happiest when she was outdoors in the sun. Her warm smile and ability to make you feel truly special will be missed.

Gail is survived by her loving husband of 40 years Ted Krompinger, daughters Heidi Beattie (Charlie) and Lisa DePace (Kyle), her son Tyson Krompinger (Tiffany), and grandbabies Henry, Benjamin, Layla, Charlotte and Rosalyn. She will also be dearly missed by siblings and in-laws Peggy and Dennis DeSantis, Deborah Allen-Moradel, Sean and Grace Allen, Laurel and Tim Draper, Karen Krompinger, Beth and Bob O’Keefe, and Eric Krompinger along with many loved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held on August 8, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Michael’s at the Grove in Bethel, CT (42 Vail Rd, Bethel, CT 06801)
