Frank A. DeCicco passed away peacefully on August 11, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Frank was born on January 30, 1949 in New York, New York to Andrew DeCicco and the late Elizabeth (Lamparelli) DeCicco.
Frank loved spending time at home with his family. His retirement days were spent with his lovely wife shopping and going out to lunch. Watching Baseball and Football games with his sons and having hot chocolate with his daughter was how he enjoyed spending his evenings. He loved Family Barbeques in the summer at “Logan Estates”, eating his hot dogs with onions. He was an avid collector of sports memorabilia and classic car figurines. Playing cards with his friends in the Bronx and in Brewster, NY was his greatest passion. Frank also loved music; listening to oldies and reminiscing about old times. He loved meeting up with his Sanitation buddies for reunions and having long telephone conversations about the fun they all had working together.
Frank is survived by his loving wife Karen DeCicco his beloved children Michael DeCicco, Nicholas DeCicco, and Denise DeCicco all of Danbury, his siblings JoAnn Garafolo (Dennis) of The Bronx, NY and Andrea Cortese (Ben) of New Jersey as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St. Danbury, CT) on Friday August 20, 2021 from 10:30am – 12pm with a prayer service to begin at 12pm.
