Francisco Jose Gonzalez of Danbury, CT passed away on February 19, 2020 unexpectedly. Francisco was born on October 2, 1983 in Middletown, New York. He was the son of Miriam Albarran and the late Jose Gonzalez-Matos. He left behind his two beautiful girls Samiyah and Sahira Gonzalez and his loving wife Sabrina Burke-Gonzalez.
Francisco enjoyed life as a whole! He attended school in the Danbury Public Schools system and worked in construction, roofing, and landscaping for over 10 years. He enjoyed working outdoors, hanging out with family and friends but most definitely spending time with his daughters.
He will be sadly missed by his step-father Carlos Maldonado, his brothers and sisters Jose Miguel, Yahaira, Omar, and Xiomara. Accompanied by his sisters and brothers in-laws, several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Predeceased by his father Jose Gonzalez-Matos and grandparents Emilia and Francisco Albarran.
Francisco will be tragically missed! He was an all around lover and father who gave his family the most. His contagious laughter and smile will forever remain in our memories. He was independent and loyal to all he came across. We will all miss his presence, jokes, and aura. Although his life on Earth was shortened, his legacy will forever live on.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home located at 117 South St. Danbury, CT 06810 on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 from 5 – 8 p.m. Followed by a celebration of Life Service to be held at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at Wooster Cemetery located at 20 Ellsworth Ave. Danbury, CT 06810.
