Francisco Antonio Adames, of Danbury, CT, died peacefully in the comfort of his own home with his family by his side. He was 81 years old.
Born on December 8, 1941 in Bao Janico, Dominican Republic, son of the late Andre Adames and Aminta Dolores Estevez. Francisco was married to the love of his life Andrea Estevez in 1967. In 1981 he immigrated to Danbury, CT where he began his journey to the US. He then brought his wife & daughters. Francisco was a very generous, kind man always eager to help his family & anyone who was in need of help.
Francisco worked for Aramark in Union Carbide for 25 years before retiring. He enjoyed spending time with his family and walking around town.
Francisco is not only survived by his loving wife Andrea but also his daughters; Mary Adames her partner James Gilbert, Jackie Jimenez and her husband Eddy Jimenez, his grandchildren Emily, Amanda, Jonathan & Nataly Jimenez, sisters, brother, nieces & nephews including Miguel Adames who he loved like his own son.
A celebration of life gathering will be held Friday November 24, 2023 from 5pm-8pm at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South Street). A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday November 25, 2023 at 9:30am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (Golden Hill Rd, Danbury) with interment to follow at Wooster Cemetery (Ellsworth Avenue, Danbury)
