Francis J. Baskay, known by many as Frank, died peacefully on Saturday April 9, 2022 at Glen Hill Nursing Home. He was 69 years old.
Born on July 24, 1952 in Norwalk, CT, son of the late Francis Baskay and Ethel (Barati) Baskay. Frank worked as a foreman with Metro North in White Plains, NY since he was 18 years old retiring in 2008 after 37 years. He enjoyed watching football and NASCAR. Frank had a love for birds, whether it was bird watching or his own African grey bird; Tigger.
Frank is survived by Melanie Baim of Wolcott, CT, and many dear friends. He will be missed.
As Frank wished a private cremation will be held. Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South Street, Danbury) assisted the family with his arrangements.
