Florence A. Talmadge passed away on December 8th , 2025. She was born on April 8th , 1937 in Brooklyn, New York to George Knoob Sr. and Doris Price. She was happily married to Donald L. Talmadge in 1958.
Florence was always a creative soul. She was fond of working with her hands. She loved crocheting, knitting, quilting and especially making Christmas ornaments for all her loved ones. Florence loved cats and had several kitty cats of her own that she loved dearly. She was also very active at the local Senior Center in New Fairfield.
Above all, Florence was grateful for her family and was so proud to be a grandmother; she was elated anticipating the arrival of her first great-grandchild. She will be dearly missed by her family for all the little joys she brought them. Her family is grateful for the excellent care she received from her Hospice team.
Florence’s memory is carried on by her children: Dorothy Potocki (Michael), Donald L. Talmadge Jr. (Robin), and Douglas J. Talmadge (Tammy) as well as her grandchildren: Nicole Potocki (Tim Crozier), Alex Potocki (Lauren), and Jessica Talmadge. She will also be missed by the many friends she made, especially her caretaker.
