Ernesto Antonio Martinez

Ernesto Antonio Martinez, of Brookfield, CT, passed away unexpectedly on June 11, 2025. He was 38 years old.

Born on October 11, 1986, son of Ernesto and Augustina. He met the love of his life, his beloved wife Andrea Cardenas with a chance encounter at Molly Darcy’s in Danbury, CT. The following day they went on their first date and the rest is history.

Ernie was a cook at Putnam Hospital Center. He loved to spend hours outside working on his landscaping and yard. His greatest passion in life were his children; when he found out he was going to have a little princess to love it brought him such joy and when his son was born, he was just as overjoyed.

Ernie is not only survived by his beloved wife Andrea and his parents, but also his wonderful children; Penelope Grace and Christopher Antonio, his siblings; Sharline and Junior and many friends.

A celebration of life gathering will be held on Wednesday July 2, 2025 from 12pm-2pm at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South Street, Danbury). A private cremation was held prior.
