Enemencia Garcia, known affectionately as Quiqui (pronounced Kiki), went to be with her padre celestial on January 15, 2026. She was born on July 8th, 1946 in Las Espinas, Dominican Republic to Simeon Suero and Petronila García. She came to the US in 1995 and through years of unwavering faith, she became an American Citizen in 2016.
The monthly family gatherings were something she cherished deeply and looked forward to for much laughter, music, celebrations and traditional Dominican food where the aromas filled the halls.
She found great happiness in watching her novelas, like Luz Clarita and Lety La Fea. She would be fully immersed in their plot with dramatic twists even after watching each several times before.
Quiqui’s signature look was always recognizable for her beloved moñitos hairstyle. A look that reflected her personality and was adored by all who knew her.
Above all, Quiqui’s greatest pride and joy was her family. Enemencia is survived by her loving children: Bacilia Reynoso (William Taylor) and Alejandra Reynoso; in addition to her four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren, each carrying a piece of her in their hearts.
Today, we find comfort in knowing that she has gone home to reunite with her parents and beloved grandson, Anthony Hernandez. Her family will remember her fondly for her faith, her bright attitude, and her abundant love which she shared with all those around her.
A visitation and service will be held at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St. Danbury, CT.) from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Wednesday, January 21st 2026.
