Eileen A. Olszewski (nee Dishuk) passed away on June 23rd, 2025 at her home Sandy Hook, Connecticut surrounded by loved ones.
Eileen was born August 9th, 1931 in Brooklyn, New York.
She married her beloved husband, Stanley E. Olszewski, in 1956 and sadly lost him in 1983. Together, they raised their two sons in East Brunswick, New Jersey.
Eileen’s career took her to Rutgers University as an administrative assistant. Later, she became an administrative assistant in the Statistics and Math departments at Princeton University, where she retired in 2013. While at Princeton, Eileen also worked part-time for many years at TJ Maxx in East Brunswick, New Jersey in the Jewelry Department.
Eileen loved the Jersey Shore, gardening, cross country skiing, cooking, making pies and found immense joy spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son John Olszewski and his wife Stacey, their children Brian, Daniel and Megan. Daughter in law Karen Olszewski, and her children Billy and Analise and her husband JT. Sister Edna Condon and niece Eileen Shaughnessy and her husband Tom and their families.
In addition to her husband, she is predeceased her son Thomas Olszewski.
Private services will be held for Eileen at St Bartholomew’s Church in East Brunswick, NJ. In lieu of flowers: please consider making a charitable contribution to the America Heart Association in Eileen’s honor.
