Edwin Manuel Rodriguez

Edwin Manuel Rodriguez went to be with his Savior on July 2nd, 2024. He was born on September 7th, 1980 in Danbury, Connecticut to Edwin Rodriguez and Robin Pages.

Edwin was such a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day, such a sweetheart, very charismatic and a natural athlete (extremely competitive). He was a phenomenal writer & very romantic, he truly adored his wife, he worshiped the ground she walked on & would do anything to make her laugh! He always wanted help out, he’d give you the shirt off his back. Edwin was bound to make you laugh (a natural) especially in the most inappropriate times. He always made light of every situation.

Edwin was the perfect example of living life to the fullest, worry free, and brutally honest, life was a party. Edwin was very loyal & conservative, but also very self indulgent when it came to fine Italian food & his red wine. He adored his family tremendously. He was an avid sports fanatic, especially Football (Dallas Cowboys) baseball (NY Mets) & basketball (NY Knicks). He enjoyed billiards, poker nights, bowling, the zoo, hiking, going for long drives, or just spending time with family. Huge movie buff & Seinfeld fan. He loved his pets, especially going for walks with his dog Fred.

Edwin’s memory is carried on by his loving wife: Mari (Santana - Ramos) Rodriguez; as well as his children: Eric F. Rodriguez, and Edwin Rodriguez Jr. He is also remembered by his grandmother Carmen; his mother, Robin; and his grandfather Manuel; as well as his siblings: Jacqui (Chooch) Rodriguez, Rosemary Rodriguez, and Angelina Rodriguez; in addition to his many nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts and everyone he came to call his friends.

Edwin is predeceased by his grandparents: Mario Pages and Juanita Rodriguez, as well as his uncle: David Rodriguez.

A celebration of life will be held for Edwin on Thursday, July 11th from 3:00pm to 5:00pm with a service to begin at 4:30pm at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St. Danbury, CT.) The family would also like to invite guests to continue the celebration of Edwin's life at the at the Elks Lodge (283 West Main St, Waterbury, CT 0708) for 6:00pm.
