Edward Charles Hamlin passed away suddenly on May 26th at his home in Danbury. In his career Ed was at times a software developer, travel agent and accountant. Married to Janet (Flye) Hamlin in 1962, they loved each other for 60 years. A true family man, he deeply loved his wife, his sons Robert, Thomas and Richard and his grandchildren Caitlin, Jamie and Stephen. Ed was an Eagle scout, a vigil member of the Order of the Arrow, and the scoutmaster of troop 22 for many years. A lifetime member of First Congregational Church, he loved music, travel and his computer. A man of infinite humor, he was quick with a laugh and always had a smile in his eyes.
