Donna Scozzafava Obituary

Donna Eileen Scozzafava passed away peacefully on February 27, 2020 while surrounded by her loving family at her home in Danbury, CT.  Donna was born on March 30th, 1948 in Boston, Massachusetts to Charlotte (Price) and the late Edward Lichenstein. Wife of Joseph Scozzafava.

Donna was a cherished music teacher for the New Fairfield school system and was exceptional in her craft. Donna had an endless passion for the arts and dedicated her life not only to teaching music in the educational system but also opening her doors to countless students at her home.  Donna was thoughtful, warmhearted, gracious, kind & caring to everyone she met.  In her selfless nature she would always put others before herself and with a huge smile on her face. Donna was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend and grandmother.

In addition to her beloved husband Joseph Scozzafava, Joe's brother John & Carol Scozzafava, Joe's father John & Paula Scozzafava, her mother and brother Jeffrey Lichenstein, Donna is survived by her two daughters Jaimie Erhardt (Ricky) and Carrie Scozzafava (Shayne) and her six grandchildren: Erin Scozzafava, Rickee Erhardt, Emillee Erhardt, Eviee Erhardt, Juliee Erhardt and Jasiah Nichols. As well as her Aunt Eleanor and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2020 at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home from 9:30am to 11:30am with a Prayer Service to begin at 11:30am.
