Diane L. Mottola

Diane L. Mottola, a lifelong resident of Danbury, died peacefully on May 16, 2024 at Danbury Hospital. She was 68 years old.

Diane was born on May 5, 1956 in Danbury, CT, daughter of the late Fred Richard and Barbara (Scofield) Gervasoni. Diane graduated from Danbury High School and received her associate degree.

Diane was a CNA with many local nursing homes over her career. Dianes’ greatest passion in life was her grandchildren, she always enjoyed the time she was able to spend with them. 

Diane is survived by her loving children; Jeffrey Mottola and Mandee Mottola Socci and her husband Chris, her grandchildren; Mya Clavijo, Dominic Socci, Rachael Socci and Jeffrey Mottola Jr (JJ), her beloved sister Karen Gervasoni and her best friend Edwin Boria. She will be missed by many.

A celebration of life gathering will be held on Friday May 24, 2024 from 5pm-7pm at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South Street). A private cremation will follow.
