Deshana Pleshette Brown

Deshana Pleshette Brown went home to be with the Lord on March 17th, 2025. She was born in Danbury, Connecticut on December 10th, 1991 to Donna (Page) Steadman and Darryl Brown.

Deshana Brown, was a radiant soul who brought joy, laughter, and love to everyone she met. Deshana’s energy was contagious—her outgoing personality, love for music, and passion for life made every moment with her unforgettable. She had a deep love for dancing and singing, always the first to bring life to any room with her moves and melodies. Fashion was her passion, and she had an incredible eye for style, especially when it came to shoes and hats, always stepping out with confidence and flair. Deshana cherished her family and loved being surrounded by friends, always making sure everyone felt welcome, loved, and ready to have fun. Her amazing smile could brighten even the darkest days, and her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Though she left us too soon, her legacy of joy, love, and laughter will never fade. We will carry her memory with us in every dance, every song, and every stylish step we take.

Deshana’s memory is carried on by her loving mother: Donna Steadman. In addition, she is survived by her siblings: Darryl Brown Jr. and Anthony Brown; as well as her bonus sisters Olivia and Mia Steadman and many Aunts and Uncles, cousins, and all those she came to call her friends.

Deshana has now reunited with her father, Darryl Brown Sr..

A visitation will be held for Deshana on Friday, March 28th at The Mount Pleasant A.M.E. Zion Church (69 Rowan St, Danbury, CT 06810) from 10:00am to 11:00am with a homegoing service to begin at 11:00am.
