Deborah Anne (Baker) Valenti, known to those close to her as “Deb”, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2021 at Regional Hospice in Danbury, CT while surrounded by her loving family. Deb was born on July 30th, 1959 in New Brunswick, NJ to Dolorita Kaleel Baker and the late James D. Baker. She is survived by her beloved husband of 28 years, Alexander Valenti.
Deb received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut in 1981 and worked as a data analyst for Boehringer Ingelheim for 27 years. On April 24, 1993 she married the love of her life, Alex. She took great pride and joy in maintaining her home and spending the evenings with her many beloved cats. In her free time, she enjoyed riding her 100th Anniversary Heritage Harley Davidson motorcycle throughout the picturesque backroads of Connecticut with her husband Alex.
She was a loving wife, daughter, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed.
In addition to her husband and her mother, she is survived by her brother Jeff Baker, sister in law Hillary Baker, nephew Andrew Baker and niece McKenzie Baker and two cats, Grace and “Princess Crooked Face”.
A graveside service will take place at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Danbury CT at 1 PM on Friday, June 11, 2021. A Celebration of Life Gathering is planned for later in the day.
