Deborah R. Hoyt, of New Fairfield, CT, formerly of Bethel/Newtown, CT, died peacefully at Danbury Hospital on March 22, 2024. She was 65 years old.
Born on October 2, 1958 in Danbury, CT, daughter of the late William Ellis and Regina Lennon. She was a 1976 graduate of Bethel High School.
Deborah was a commercial loan administrator with Union Savings Bank for over 20 years before retiring in October 2023. She enjoyed bingo and going to the casino. Her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren. Debbie was a person that you knew you could confide in, she always leant her ear to others and was a caring and giving person.
Deborah is survived by her loving children; Stephanie Neves and her husband John of New Fairfield, her son Joshua Hoyt and his fiancé Stephanie Gully of Danbury, her dear granddaughters; Olivia and Gabriella and her siblings; Colleen Lennon, John Lennon, Nicholas and Kathy Ellis, Joseph Ellis, Jennifer Torres(Ellis) and her sister-in-law Karen Ellis, many cousins, nieces and nephews and her ex-husband, Michael Hoyt. She was predeceased by her bothers William Ellis and Michael Lennon.
