David Emerson Strang

David E. Strang III passed away peacefully on April 5, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.  David was born on August 15, 1964 in Rhinebeck, NY and raised by Lawrence(Fuzzy) and Arlene Barrett who predeceased him.

David suffered from a long time illness of Huntington's Disease and spent his last year's surrounded by his family. David loved spending time outdoors whether it be ATV riding or deer hunting, and camping. David had a passion for the past, especially the ‘80’s.  From classic cars to classic rock David loved it all. David was the guy that was always there to help a friend and known for his big heart.

David is survived by his loving wife Kathe Strang, his beloved children Heather Donohue, Nicole Strang, and David Edward Strang, as well as his grandchildren Alexia, Adam, Cherish, Michael and Charli. David also leaves behind his sister Ann and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews

A Celebration of Life Service will be held privately by the family. In lieu of flowers please donate to Holmes Methodist Church in Holmes NY 12531.
