David Ramos Hernandez

David Ramos Hernandez, of Waterbury, CT, died on Thursday May 18, 2023. He was 51 years old. Born on November 20, 1971 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, son of Efrain Hernandez and Mercedes Ramos.

David was a highly skilled Auto Technician with Greentree Toyota. This was not only his career, but his true passion and he would challenge himself to perfect his craft. He was a hard working man that worked his way up from the bottom. He took pride in providing for his family and was loyal to those around him. He would do anything for those he loved. David was an amazing chef and enjoyed cooking for his family and friends. He loved when family would gather together. David also enjoyed doing fun activities with his children and grandchildren. He was a beloved father ,brother and son who left an imprint on the hearts or everyone around him. He will be truly missed and remembered forever. David is not only survived by his parents, but also his children; Brenna Callands (Tyrell Callands), David Hernandez Jr, Isaiah Hernandez, and partner of David’s, Lindsay Masanotti, his grandchildren; Aziah Callands, Nehemyah Callands, his siblings, Yvette Lopez, Nancy Lopez, Antonio Hernandez, Efrain Hernandez, Ismael Hernandez, and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life gathering will be held on Friday May 26, 2023 at 11am at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South Street, Danbury) with a service beginning at 11:30am. A private cremation will be held. Please visit www.danburymemorial.com to send the family condolences.
