David Bilodeau Obituary

David C. Bilodeau peaceably went to be with his Lord and Savior after a five year long battle with Parkinson’s disease on November 15, 2023.

He was born to Harry Bilodeau and Lucinda Kruger on December 17, 1944 in North Tonawanda New York.

David graduated from North Tonawanda senior high and went on to continue his academic career attending both the Niagara Community College (NCC) and University of Buffalo, earning a Bachelor’s degree.

Later in life, David served his country as a First Class U.S. Air Force Airman during the Vietnam War.

David was a practicing Lutheran and was confirmed at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in North Tonawanda New York. In true New Yorker fashion, he was a big fan of the New York Yankees and the Buffalo Bills.

David’s memory is carried on through his brother Thomas Bilodeau and his wife Debra of Washington, PA; his sister Patricia Kilbury (Bilodeau) of Batavia, NY; his two nieces: Cindy and Laury of New York; and his nephews: Steven T. Bilodeau of Germany and Justin T. Bilodeau of Rochester, NY; in addition to the lives of the many people he came to call his friends.

A private burial with military honors will be held at the State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown, CT.

In lieu of flowers, the family would request that donations be made in David’s honor to Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).
