Darryl Scott

     Darryl Akili Scott, of Danbury, CT, passed away in the comfort of his own home on February 7, 2025. He was 56 years old. Born on December 8, 1968 in Danbury, CT, son of the late Jamesetta Scott and Rufas Ward.
    Darryl enjoyed spending time with his family. Especially with his granddaughter Eden. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy and New York Yankee fan. Darryl was a transport Attendant with Ingersoll Automotive.
    He is survived by his loving daughter; Desiree Scott; his granddaughter; Eden Walker; his siblings; Wanda Scott of Danbury, CT, Carla Scott of Augusta, GA,  and Indira Scott of Waterbury, CT, his nieces and nephews Keyanda Scott of Danbury, CT, MarRian Scott of Orlando, FL, Miari Scott of Augusta, GA, Iesha Scott of Atlanta, GA, and Reginya Greene (honorary) of Tampa, FL.
He was predeceased by his brother Juan Eric Scott and Rufus Ward, Jr., and many aunts and uncles.
    A celebration of life service will be held Friday February 21, 2025 at 11:00am at New Hope Baptist Church. The visitation will be held following the service at noon.
